Shimmer volume 13 starts right off with this great opening match. Serena’s done little of note in recent times, but is still over with the crowd in this match, which is a nice follow-up from Serena missing the Shimmer title tournament, and being replaced by the opportunistic Alicia. Deeb comes across more aggressive than I can remember her before, and is surprisingly dominant, working the arm and shoulder. Alicia wrestles in a classic heel fashion, the like of which Raven would surely love, and she’s growing on me for sure after this well executed match.

The main event of the show is probably one of the biggest matches to hit the Jersey Shore in years. NWA World Heavyweight Champion Christian Cage will go one on one with somebody his never wrestled yet, and that man is the Phenominal AJ Styles. Also to note, we have just gotten word that this match will have NO TIME LIMIT. There WILL be a winner in this one. Will there be a Styles Clash on June 3rd and an improbable victory for AJ, or will experience pan out and will Christian Cage walk out of Toms River holding his head high?

This was a first round match in the IWA-MS "Revolution 2004" strong style tournament, and took place prior to their much talked about ROH title bout later in the year. Aries demonstrated that the size difference between he and Joe would not be a factor in remaining highly competitive as they struggled to advance to the second round on that night. Aries used not only his speed but also didn't back down from a striking battle with Joe in this bout. Commentary on the match features Dave Prazak and "Spyder" Nate Webb.

These two women have wrestled against each other in ChickFight in the U.K before, but now they are wrestling in Shimmer's first ever tournament. The winner of the tournament will be crowned the first Shimmer champion.

World Extreme Wrestling is proud to offer a match from their 2002 Elite 8 women's tournament. This first round match is between Arial and the big and burly Belladawna.

Which of these two combatants would prevail to make it to the second round. Would it be the more technically sound Ariel or would the brute strength from the former WXW Women's Champion be too much for Ariel to overcome. Which would advance to the next round?

Cheerleader Melissa was ready for her much anticipated and hyped All Pro Wrestling Internet Title match against the reigning champion, Puma, in Bakersfield, CA. Much to her, as well as the fan's, dismay, Puma quickly put a stop to that by saying that he would not be putting his title on the line that evening against a woman; a match would be had, but it would be a non-title fight.

Amber O'neal and Serena Deeb face off once again, but first you get a quick replay of O’Neal’s cheap win over Serena on Volume 5. They lock up and Serena powers O’Neal to the mat. O’Neal turns Serena over for a two count. She puts on a headlock but Serena trips her up and puts on a front facelock. O’Neal goes to the corner and chops Serena down. Serena comes back with a back elbow and a backslide for a two count. O’Neal shoves her to the mat by her hair and chokes her on the middle rope. Serena gets a sunset flip for a two count.

Quarter-Final Round

2004 Future Legend winner and ChickFight I and II runner-up Melissa takes on former friend turned rival Sara Del Rey. There is a long history between these two tough competitors stemming all the way back to when "Nikki" was making a name for herself in the famous APW Garage many years ago.

Halloween Hell 2 will forever be a historic night in APW history. In the weeks leading up to this show, Gym Wars crowds were growing so large there was concern that APW was exceeding the occupancy limit for the building. This combined with the city Fire Marshal being called on several occasions by "APW-Haters" had many wondering if HH2 was even going to take place.

Another good match here kids. Both ladies are fan favorites here in SHIMMER, so the crowd is split early. Even with both ladies being faces, they kept the crowd active the whole way through. Thatcher isn’t “on Melissa’s level” so to speak, but she definitely showed her determination and strength going up against Melissa and holding her own. Great technical wrestling from both ladies and some nice outside brawling for flavor adding up to a very solid match!

This is it! One of the most requested matches of the year has finally been added to ClickWrestle. It's the APW Garage Rumble 2004 match. Over 60 minutes of wrestling action shown here in its entirety. This was the match that saw Cheerleader Melissa make history by wrestling for over 60 MINUTES straight and outlasting 28 men in her attempts to win the APW Universal Heavyweight Title.

3-Way-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match

After a tortuous battle between the three of these women at ChickFight IV, APW sets them in a match that could only be described as the most shocking female match this year. Watch as all three of these women take each other throughout this arena, brutally beating each other in the bleachers, hanging each other off balconies, and throwing each other down stairs! This match will show once and for all who is the best out of these three women after having such a muddled ChickFight IV conclusion.

"This was "The Legion Of Womb exploding!" Skye looked great in this, but the most entertainment value came from Jetta, who played heel, with her cocky dancing and asides to the audience. "I've GOT to cheat to beat her - she's *good*", she explained. Jetta did heel it up to beat Skye, but she felt bad about it afterwards, giving a covert "Womb" hand signal and helping up her defeated opponent. This was likely the best match of the Quarter-finals."

The United Wrestling Federation presents a match featuring Sonny Siaki versus Ron Killings.

Ron Killings comes out to the ring with quite a few less-than-pleasant things to say about Sonny "cocky" Siaki. After taking a bit of badmouthing from Killings, Siaki is furious and pulls Killings into the ring to begin the match. Killings may have a smart mouth, but Siaki is ready to get even in flesh rather than words.

APW fans in Bakersfield were treated to a ChickFight III rematch between Sara Del Ray and Cheerleader Melissa. Fans who saw that match are still talking about it today, and this match was just as good.

Neither woman was able to gain the advantage early on in the match. Both Melissa and Del Ray are so familiar with each other that they both delivered and took the same amount of damage. One of the highlights of the match is when Melissa is able to lock Del Ray in an inverted Texas Clover Leaf submission. This took a lot out of Del Ray and rightfully so.

This hard hitting match took place at APW's Kristmas Kaos. APW's gift this year was to let the fans choose the matches and first up was the female terminator versus the cocky Ric Luxury accompanied by ex-referee turned bad valet, Kristina. The stiff blows between the competitors is well worth the watch, not to mention the cat fight with Kristina in the end.

APW Worldwide Internet Championship Match

The champion, MPT put his title on the line against Scotty Aboot in this Internet Title match from APW Gym Wars. MPT has been on a hot streak since capturing the belt from JJ Perez in September 2006. Scotty Aboot has impressed fans since making his debut in APW last year. This was sure to be a high-flying, wild match. Enjoy this free Internet Title Match from APW!

"Vicious" Vic Grimes defeated "Shooter" Tony Jones in the time of 10:41 with a powerbomb. The highlight of this tough fought match was at the 7 minute mark when everyone in attendance thought Jones had stunned the big guy, Grimes with a German Suplex. What makes this German Suplex so devastating is that although Jones weighs in at 258, Grimes came into this match at over 350 pounds. - Original match review from 1997...

This match came about as Lacey answered Roxx's open challenge. Roxx has been making overtures about moving up the card and testing herself against better opponents, and backstage, Dave Prazak clearly thinks there is a lot of potential in Roxx becoming a main event level performer in SHIMMER. Stylistically I see this as a great match, as Roxx has got a lot of fan support, and Lacey's heelish style (full of complaining and stalling) should play into it well. In fact, right off the bat we get impassioned chants of Nikki - Roxx! Lacey - Sucks!.

This 4 way elimination match took place in Santa Maria, CA where APW drew a crowd of over 1500 fans. The fans of Santa Maria love great wrestling, and they showed it.
