This match features Angel Williams (AKA TNA's Angelina Love) taking on WWE's Beth Phoenix. These two are competing in the second semifinal match of the 2003 WXW Women's Elite 8 Tournament. Williams is coming off a victory over Allison Danger while Phoenix, victorious in the first round over Psycho, suffered an attack from the back, severely injuring her and leaving her ability to wrestle in the rest of the tournament questionable.
